Edit Lab

Metru Productions hopes to create a space in the Johnson City, TN area where content creators can find the equipment and resources they need to work on their craft and bring their creative vision to life.
Through a monthly edit lab membership, members will gain access to a variety of resources to help them improve or produce their work.
Editing
Stations
The edit lab will feature multiple editing stations equipped to edit up to 6K footage, run Unreal Engine 5, CAD software, and handle other hardware-intensive rendering processes.
Network
Storage
The edit lab will also feature a local area network (LAN) that connects all the editing stations to network storage. Memberships will include 100 GB of network storage, with 1 TB storage plans being available for an additional cost.
3D
Printing
What would an edit lab be without a 3D printer? With the large bed size of the Creality CR-10 Max being a whopping 450 x 450 x 470 mm. Members will have the ability to print anything from a tiny trinket to camera accessories to a computer case. Printing costs will depend on filament usage, but members will receive a special discount on every print.

Need a quiet space to record your podcast for the evening? The edit lab will feature a recording studio area for recording podcasts, ADR, and voice-over.

Meet others in the local content creation community, advertise personal projects, and find collaborators
Freelancer
Matchmaking
Members will automatically be added to the find a freelancer match-making service, where we will get clients in contact with a list of local freelancers from our local community that meet their needs. Clients can review their experience with freelancers, and those ratings will be added next to the freelancer's name for future clients to see.
